Idea from

SHOUTOUT TO RY!
It seemed like a really fun idea to put my top 10 games into a journal. I'd love to see yours, leave a link or a comment saying what yours are

10. Tetris

My dad let me borrow his GB and it had this on it, used to play it a long time and strangely. my copy did not have the traditional tetris theme song! But it was still addictive and still works to this day.
9. Skyrim

Im late to the Skyrim party, but it is one of the best games i've ever played! Its an RPG and a sandbox game! I love both together, and still have not completed it.
8. Disgaea

This franchise is a funny little series, its a SJRPG and is really fun, with addicting music, characters, randomized dungeons and plot

I love Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, but i found this one was more memorable.
7. Spyro

Spyro, Spyro, Spyro. I loved this little dude, travelling all over the place. I remember going over to my friends house, and we pulled an all nighter - still didnt finish the game but it was so good trying to torch Knorc and flying through the speed levels which i still hate to this day.
6. Final Fantasy 8

My faourite final fantasy in the series, this game had a hard time with the fans apparently, either you loved it, or hated it. Mostly because of the junction system?
I for one, absolutely loved the junction system, and the story, and the music, and the graphics! It was amazing. It was nice to have a more romantic story, rather than save the world? well it was..but...yeah. Replayed this a many a times, and was so glad that I bought it when that video store was going out of business. Snagged it for $10.
Lets not get into how I was lucky and got the Original FF7 for free...

5. Pokemon

The single most defining series in my life, the reason why its not higher up, is because those other games just had a bigger impact on my life. Pokemon is just amazing, and my first game was pokemon Yellow, which i played on my dad's GB

Also learned how to read better... hehe i was so young then.
4. Klonoa

This you might not have heard of...I got this the day I got FF7 for free.
Its a 3d platformer and is the single most cutest and saddest game you will ever play. Its not a very hard game, but it sucks you right in and you love it to pieces. My dad and I completed it together on our first playthrough, maybe that's why its so memorable.
3. Banjo-Kazooie + Conkers Bad Fur Day

Ahh classic. First - BK.
Banjo Kazooie was just the coolest game on the block! A bird and a Bear in a cartoon like adventure? I played this alot at the arcade, until one day, we somehow got a N64 and a bunch of games. I think our next door neighbours sold it to us... (Also Pokemon Stadium!!!!) I love this series to death, and Nuts and Bolts NEVER HAPPENED.
Now - Conker.
Recently played this just this December gone, but as soon as it started, that Squirrel made it instantly into my heart. That crude, rude game with movie references and amazing levels was so awesome!!
2. Okami

This was a game I sunk a few hours into, i mean cmon, you're a wolf and you can draw! That is so cool! I rented this from the video shop and rented it everyday. Its just..ahhh.
1. Xenoblade

I say this now.
I would be happy if i never played another video game in my LIFE, now that I've played this game. It has satisfied me in every single way, and I am so adamant to share it with the world. This is a JRPG..of sorts. Its a huge-scale world with a sort of man vs machine air about it. ive sunk over 80 hours into it, and that was just the main story line.
the BEST graphics for the wii, the BEST music ever, and the BEST plot ever!!
This also was released with two other games in a set called "Project Rainfall" in which Last Story and Pandora's Tower was also released.
Im currently playing through Pandora's Tower, and it doesnt even compare in the slightest to the marvel that is Xenoblade. I give it the highest of reccomendations.
Honourable Mentions:
FFVII:CC, Kingdom Hearts, Sonic.
